Rustum Roy

Rustum Roy sadly died on August 26th 2010. He was a major figure in the emergence of materials science as a discipline in its own right: founder of MRS and Journal of Materials Research, but also with a much wider range of interests and philanthropic activities.

He stepped down as Editor of Materials Research Innovations in July 2010 to become Founding Editor.
