Notes for Contributors - Library History |
Contributions are always welcome on the understanding that they have not previously been published or submitted elsewhere.
Enquiries or submissions from North American authors should be sent, preferably by email, to the North American Editor, Professor Boyd Rayward, Graduate School of Library and Information Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 501 East Daniel Street, Champaign, IL 61820-6211, USA. (e-mail: wrayward@uiuc.edu).
All other contributions should be sent to the Editor, Professor Alistair Black, School of Information Management, Leeds Metropolitan University, Headingley Campus, Leeds LS6 3QS, UK. (email:a.black@leedsmet.ac.uk). All papers will be sent to referees.
Papers should ideally be presented as a Word file, sent either by post or email. References and notes should be presented as endnotes, using the automatic referencing system available in Word. Please contact the editor for a style sheet.
Illustrations All illustrations (including photographs and diagrams) should be referred to as Figures and their position indicated in the text. Black and white prints of photographs should be supplied. Captions should be submitted on a separate sheet. Illustrations presented in an electronic file are acceptable, but please do not embed them in your article.
Proofs will normally be sent to authors and should be returned to the Editor within 72 hours of receipt. Proofs are supplied for minor typographical correction only; major alterations to the text cannot be accepted.
Offprints Authors of papers in Library History receive a screen-resolution PDF file of the publisged version. Orders for digital offprints may be made at the time the proofs are distributed.
