Maney Publishing Introduces New Licensing Options                   MORE licensing agreements offer institutions and library consortia access to more information at cost-effective prices    A number of licensing options are available for MORE that are designed to suit the differing needs of academic institutions and consortia worldwide. All options are based around the purchase of journals from Maney Publishing in the fields of materials science and engineering, health, history and humanities and are available on single and/or multi-year terms.

Licensing the full collection of online journals represents the best value for money for multidisciplinary universities and library consortia wishing to provide the greatest breadth of content to their users.  More specialist institutions and libraries may choose to licence specific journal collections in their particular area of specialism. All the licensing options available expand the readership of journals by allowing more users access to a wider range of electronic content in addition to existing journal holdings, and offer significant value for money.

MORE licensing options

Single Institution Licence 

Maney Publishing offers a standard single institution licence for users of the electronic versions of its online journals. Single institutions are classed as being located within one metropolitan boundary with a single billing address for all subscription purchases.  Pricing options are based around the current list price of the journals.

Multi-Site Licence for Single Institutions

Maney Publishing offers a multi-site licence for single institutions. Pricing options are based around the consolidation and/or access to the total holdings of the institution for all sites, plus any additional collections of Maney Publishing journals that may be required.

Consortia Licence

Consortia licensing options enable participating institutions to join together to expand their resources to the full text of MORE, and to continue to purchase paper titles if required.  Pricing options are based around the collective holdings and/or group purchase of new additional collections of journals from Maney Publishing at a cost acceptable to both parties. Both print and electronic and electronic only options are available.

Regardless of which licensing option is chosen, anyone entering into a licensing agreement with Maney Publishing will benefit from the following:

1. Electronic access includes the full text archive of the journal/s 

2. Guaranteed quality content - the journals are peer reviewed and regularly cited in BIOSIS,

    MEDLINE, Science Citation Index, Web of Science, Materials Abstracts and Social Sciences

    Citation Index

3. The archive of the material subscribed to during the period of the licence agreement can be

    made available in perpetuity

4. Current print subscriptions will be mailed to the original subscribing institution if/as required

5. Additional print copies of the electronic licensed content can be purchased at a discounted rate

6. Guaranteed % price increases per annum set for the duration of the agreement where a

    multi-year licence is offered.

7. All online journals are included in CrossRef enabling interactive linking to and from cited

    references

8. Links to the full text are also available via PubMed, Web of Science and CSA abstracting

    services

9. Usage statistics that are Counter compliant are available if required.                             

10.New issue/table of content email alerts, search alerts, and RSS feeds are available

11.New IngentaConnect platform offers speedy subscription activation, and enhanced navigation

    and search facilities
