Table of Contents (TOC) Alerts

For all Maney online titles, tables of contents (TOC) alerts are available free of charge. These are emailed as soon as the new issues are available online, and therefore enable immediate and quick access through to the full text of your chosen Maney title(s). To benefit from this service, please follow the simple instructions below:

First-time users of IngentaConnect will need to register with Ingenta. To do this, go to the home page which can be located at www.ingentaconnect.com and select the 'register' option on the left-hand menu bar, then follow the instructions online. Please note that you do not have to be a subscriber to any of the journals hosted on Ingenta to register, and registration is free. On your first visit you will also need to register for TOC alerting. After registering select 'New Issue Alerts' from your home page.

For current users of Ingenta Connect TOC alerts are available as follows:

Sign in as normal and click on 'Manage My Ingenta' on the right hand side of the page. Then select 'New Issue Alerts'.

Once you have the Issue Alerts page open you can click on the 'Add' tab to add further titles and identify the title of interest. Select the box beside the title and then click 'Add'.

You may be asked to submit your username and password. These are the same as your main registering details. You can select the journals for which you require alerts from Ingenta's full list of titles and you can add or remove alerts at any time by clicking on the 'Manage My Ingenta' option on the right hand side of the screen and selecting 'New Issue Alerts'

If your institution has purchased a site licence for unlimited TOC alerts, you can use this section to sign up for as many alerts as you wish. Individuals can sign up for a maximum of five TOC alerts.

TOC alerts are emailed to you whenever a new issue of your selected journal(s) is loaded on to the Ingenta site. Emails can be sent in plain text, HTML, or ProCite/Endnote-compatible formats.

For users of Highwire TOC alerts are also available free of charge. Go to: http://jorthod.maneyjournals.org and select 'Register for Table of Contents alerts'. Registration is free to anyone who registers their email address.
