Orthodontic Technicians Association takes Journal of Orthodontics for its members
Maney Publishing is pleased to announce that the Orthodontic Technicians Association (OTA), UK, is to take up a preferential subscription offer to provide the Journal of Orthodontics for its members.
The Journal of Orthodontics, which is published by Maney for the British Orthodontic Society, is recognised as a key resource for the practising orthodontic community, in which the OTA is a leading force for the advancement of orthodontic research and practice. It is an important partnership both for the Journal and the Association in increasing the global dissemination of its research and providing the latest research papers for orthodontic practitioners.

The Journal has enjoyed particular success this year, with a paper winning the prestigious European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO) Award for the second year running. 'A randomized clinical trial comparing 'one-step' and 'two-step' orthodontic bonding systems' by N. Manning, S. M. Chadwick, D. Plunkett, and T. V. Macfarlane was published in Vol. 33, No. 4, December 2006.
The Journal of Orthodontics Scientific Paper of the Year was also launched, with a prize being awarded at the British Orthodontic Conference in September for the paper 'Decontamination of orthodontic bands following size determination and cleaning' by P. E. Benson and C. W. I. Douglas. The paper was published in theJournal of Orthodontics Vol. 34, No. 1, March 2007, and is available to view free online at http://jorthod.maneyjournals.org
