NEW APPOINTMENTS AT MANEY PUBLISHING

Maney Publishing, the London- and Leeds-based independent journals publisher, has announced important changes in personnel in July 2007.

Shelly Lynds, previously Head of Sales and Customer Service, joins the Company Board as Director, Sales and Marketing, in charge of a combined and enlarged team. Lynne Medhurst moves up to Head of Marketing and Promotions and Emily Simpson is promoted to Senior Marketing Executive. Kirsten Woolley takes on the new role of Customer Relations Executive, to develop Maney's contacts with libraries and industry customers, and with Shelly will soon be representing Maney at library conferences.

Joining Maney as Subscriptions Manager is Denise Feeley, formerly with Emerald, and bringing further knowledge of the industry are Juliet Moore (from Parragon Books) and Natalie Taylor (from OUP) as Marketing Executives, and Rebecca Lee (from Informa/T&F) as Production Editor.

These appointments reflect strong growth in Maney's publishing profile, demonstrated by numerous recent acquisitions, the growing presence at conferences world-wide and increasing interest in the MORE (Maney Online Research E-Journal) collections.
