The Modern Humanities Research Association

The MHRA was founded in Cambridge, England, in 1918, and has become an international association representing scholarship in the field of the modern and medieval languages and literatures of Europe (including English).

MHRA Texts and Dissertations

This series of volumes, based on scholarly dissertations and texts of particular merit was launched by the MHRA in 1970. The titles are selected on a competitive basis and edited by a team of leading specialists in the relevant fields.
